Job description
Our repeat client, a lovely family relocating to London (Marylebone), UK in August 2022, is looking for live-out nanny/all-rounder/Housekeeper who would look after their 8 y.o. son and help with housekeeping and cooking.
The boy is bilingual French and English, and he also started learning Arabic while the family was living in the Middle East. For this reason, the parents would prefer a nanny who speaks both English and Arabic so the boy would keep learning Arabic.
Apart from looking after the boy and helping him with English homework, the nanny will be expected to keep a 200 square metre apartment clean and tidy, do laundry and cook dinner for the family of 3.
This is a long-term full time position with start in mid August 2022.
Responsibilities
- Taking the boy back from school, educational activities and playdates
- Assisting the boy with English homework
- Cook dinner for the family every night
- Cleaning the flat, keeping it tidy and organised
- Laundry and ironing for the family
- Staying over as live-in when both parents are travelling (normally quite rare, such as once a quarter)
- Babysitting in the evenings (with additional pay) - on average once to twice a week
Requirements
- Significant experience in expat community / families and with kids between 8 and 12 years old
- Arabic speaking would be a big plus
- Educational background would be a plus
- Excellent references from former employers
Work conditions
Schedule: 12pm-8pm 5 days a week
