Job description

Family of 4, two adults and 2 children of 2 and 4 years with no pets is looking to hire a live-out head housekeeper for their 8600 square feet luxury penthouse in Montréal, Québec.
The head housekeeper will be dynamic, very discreet and meticulous. She will also be willing to last in this position. She would be able to speak in English or French.
Start : As soon as possible.

Responsibilities

Ensure the general state of the penthouse.
Caring of pieces of art and other valuables.
Deep cleaning of the penthouse while the family is away.
Care for delicate laundry.
Ironing and organise wardrobes.
Help pack suitcases for the family when they travel.
Maintenance and watering plants.
Welcome and liaise with contractors and suppliers.
Grocery shopping and running errands for maintenance products.
Stock management of cleaning products and other specific cleaning products.
Receive deliveries.
Help cooking for the family’s meals.
Respect and be able to run the allotted budget.
Make sure to maintain a good organisation of the penthouse : always cleaned and tidy with high standard cleaning.
Manage the family’s requests.
Report to the client any irregularity.

Requirements

Minimum 3 years experience in private family as a head housekeeper.
Discreet and trustworthy.
Organized, dynamic and meticulous.
Being able to take initiatives.
Flexible and adaptable toward working hours.
Driving licence.
Speaking English or French.

Work conditions

Working contract : Full time
Working hours : 40 hours per month plus extra hours
