Looking to hire a Live-out Head Housekeeper

Oversee other staff (cleaners, chef and dog-sitter) and train staff when necessaryWork independently and proactively to be sure the house is clean, tidy, organised and maintained to high standards.Put in place organisation, children’s games, removal of cardboard from deliveries, place to organise linens, measure and buy baskets to keep clothes organized, tool area, entrance area for tote-bags and activities (cycling, soccer, etc)Shop for weekly groceries ; maintain grocery inventory (ccheck when we are getting low on a staple item); track down special items such as organic foods or advent calendars at Christmas. Arrange for deliveries as needed.Run other errands as requested (clothing, hardware, post office, dry cleaning, etc).Direct staff for infrequent tasks such as cleaning the fridge, throwing out unused food, cleaning the floorsPrepare snacks for children’s school ; do food preparation as requested (chop vegetables for us to use later).Provide babysitting, one evening a weekSchool bus pickup as requested.Occasionally take children to the parkWith advance notice, travel with family (1-2 times per year) or help maintain the house in the family's absence.Arrange travel details when requeste, airport pickups, hotel or restaurant reservations.Notice what needs extra attention (need to buy extra bed linen), problem-solve when necessary,Use apps such as WhatsApp and Google docs to communicate and plan effectively.​
