Job description
Full time live-out Private Chef is required for a private family based in Central London, the UK.
The right candidate has to have a flexible, adaptable and easy-going personality, be able to maintain a high level of hygiene in the kitchen and have experience in international cuisine with a focus on healthy food.
The family like a variety of food, they particularly like fish and vegetables, but the chef has to be comfortable cooking all sorts of food, including meat, seafood, fresh pasta, pastry, and also be able to offer gluten-free and lactose-free options.
The Chef will be working alone and will be completely responsible for all the stages of food preparation, menu planning, ordering groceries (all suppliers and accounts are set up), and cleaning the kitchen and cooking equipment after use.
Start: As soon as possible.

Responsibilities
- Prepare tasty and nutritious breakfast, lunch and dinner using fresh produce
- Plan menus in liaison with the house manager
- Maintain the highest level of hygiene
- Cleaning of the pantries, fridges, and cooking equipment
- Order groceries
- Organise order receipts
- Travel with the family once per year during summer months (for around 6 weeks)
Requirements
- Experience working for private families
- Excellent verifiable references
- Fluent English
- Based in London and eligible to work in the UK
- Adaptable and able to take criticism
- Someone who shows effort and is enthusiastic about their job
- Available for trials immediately
Work conditions
Schedule : 6 days per week, including weekends. Day off will be on a week day.
Starting at around 9 am until around 9 pm. Once the family is away the chef can take extra time off as well.
