Job description
Two Gardeners are required for a large private estate in Middlesex, London, UK. This is permanent full-time position with an immediate start.
Responsibilities
The gardeners will work under the guidance of a head gardener and will perform the following duties:
- Swimming pool and tennis court maintenance
- Maintenance of garden, lawns, borders, hedges, woodlands, lakes, footpaths and fencing
- Maintenance of the fruit and vegetable garden
- Maintenance of garden equipment and machinery
- Monitoring and ensuring plant health all year round
Requirements
- Experience in gardening
- Experience of physical work
- Ability to work with others and follow instructions from supervisors and managers
- RHS or NVQ Level
- Excellent references from former employers
- Positive can-do attitude
- Willingness to learn
- Ability to use garden machinery
- Horticultural knowledge
- Vaccinated
Work conditions
- Schedule: Monday to Friday , 40 hours/week
