Job description

Our client based in Monaco is looking to hire a Private Chef Cook (M/F) to work on their properties as well as on board a private Yacht.Long term contract – live-in or live-out position can be considered.
Starting date asap.

Responsibilities

Prepare daily meals for the couple (breakfast, lunch, dinner)
Create menus according to the family’s desires
Work with fresh products coming from artisanal producers
Cook preferably traditional italian, Mediterranean, Greek, Spanish, French cuisine with Asian
influences.
Follow dietary requirements (nut allergy, very low carb diet, products without nitrates…)
Making occasionally bread and other foods (meat sausages)
Set the table and serve the meals if needed
Go grocery shopping at the market
Ability to source fresh and high quality products and ingredients locally
Monitor food inventory, organize, manage stocks and follow the budget guidelines
Make sure the kitchen is clean and tidy at all times
When ashore, the Chef would be required to cook for the principals and guests sometime (6 months), when onboard the Chef would be required to cook for the owners, their occasional guests and for the crew 9 (6 months)

Requirements

A minimum of 3 years in a similar environment
Trustworthy and discreet
Passionate about his work
Person dynamic, autonomous able to work under pressure
Attention to detail and to the principal’s requirements
Availability to work on a Yacht (valid ENG1 + STCW 2010)
French and English speaker is required
Driving licence
Updated Sanitary Pass

Salary

between 5000 and 7000 euros net a month
