Job description
A lovely family of 4, including 2 grown-up children, one of which lives at home at present is looking for an experienced and qualified live-in Housekeeper for their wonderful chalet of approximately 500m2 in Gstaad, Switzerland.
The housekeeper will be fully in charge of the household duties like cooking, cleaning, laundry, etc…The ideal candidate must have good knowledge of cooking and needs to be flexible.
English speaker is a must for this position. This is a full-time and permanent position to start as soon as possible.
Accommodation will be provided.

Responsibilities
- Ensure all daily housekeeping duties are executed to a very high standard
- High standard cleaning of the bedrooms and bathrooms and all other areas inside the property
- Making beds every day
- Polish silver
- Dusting and polishing including delicate objects
- Prepare breakfast
- Prepare simple meals if and when needed
- Serving food
- Laundry and ironing the clothes
- A high level of knowledge of clothes management including delicate items and handwashing
- Grocery shopping if needed
- Looking after the dog when needed (feeding and walking)
- Good knowledge and experience of table preparation and serving at dinner parties
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years experience in private family
- Trustworthy and discreet
- A committed and hard-working person
- Someone who is methodical, quiet and gentle in their work
- A happy and positive manner
- Dog friendly
- Must speak English
- Looking for a long-term position
Work conditions
Working hours: 40 hours per week (flexibility required)
