Job description
An experienced Domestic Couple is required to take care of a large country house near Rye, East Sussex, UK.
This beautiful Georgian house with 11 bedrooms and extensive gardens has been recently purchased and will be used as a weekend residence.
The gentleman in the couple will serve as a handyman/gardener/roofer and the lady will be a housekeeper/cook.
Start: As soon as possible.

Responsibilities
- Handyman duties (active involvement in fixing and repairs)
- Contact contractors when needed
- Oversee gardening team
- Roof repairs if needed
- Cleaning the house
- Laundry and ironing
- Bed changing
- Take care of delicate materials ( old wood, etc)
- Cooking for the family if needed
- Shopping for the household
- Report to the family PA
Requirements
- Experience working as a domestic couple with checkable references
- Experienced in maintenance and looking after old houses
- Driving license
- Flexible and adaptable
- Discreet
Work conditions
Schedule
5 days/week, working weekends and days off during the week.Accommodation
A separate cottage (unfurnished right now); food will be provided when on duty; utility bills covered by the client.
