Job description
A family is looking to hire a live-in head housekeeper for their 7500 square feet residence in Cambridge, United Kingdom. The housekeeper will be responsible for the daily cleaning of the residence, laundry cooking, pet care, childcare shopping, etc…
The clients are looking for someone very hands-on, organised, hard-working , independent and resourceful. The ideal candidate has to be very flexible and have the ability to take directions and fulfil the standards of the principal.
This is a full-time live-in position and accommodations will be provided in a nearby building of the same property.

Responsibilities
- Ensure all daily housekeeping duties are executed to the highest standard
- High standard cleaning of the bedrooms and bathrooms, dining areas, gym, hallways, kitchen, living spaces, study room and all other areas inside the property
- Change bed linens as required
- Prepare breakfast, lunch and dinner for the family
- Keep all household appliance and equipment in good working condition. Check and report damage, if any
- Laundry and ironing the clothes
- Organise wardrobes
- Grocery shopping and make sure to stock the pantry
- Household expense management
- Drop and pick the kids from school when needed
- Accompany the kids to their extracurricular activities
- Help pack suitcases for family when they trave
- Taking of the dog (grooming, feeling and walking)
- Bring pets for vet visits as required
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years experience in private family
- Trustworthy and discreet
- High degree of confidentiality, integrity and discretion
- Committed and hard-working person
- Flexible and adaptable
- Dog friendly
- Driving license
- Speaking English is a must
- Meticulous and attentive to details
Work conditions
Schedule : 6 days per week from 7am to 7pm with 2 hours break in between
