Job description
A temporary live-in housekeeper is needed for a family of 4 adults and 3 children, age 13, 11 and 6 for their vacation home in Neydens, France, this summer 2021. The candidate will be responsible for all the housekeeping duties in the 2-storey property, the housekeeper will be in charge of the laundry, ironing and assisting with the preparation of meals. The ideal candidate must be energetic, hands-on, responsible, trustworthy and fluent in English. This is a temporary position to start in end of June until mid-September 2021.
Responsibilities
Responsible for all the housekeeping duties in the property – Bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen and living rooms Daily cleaning of the bathrooms and kitchen Vacuuming, dusting, mopping, changing of linens Laundry and ironing of bed linens and clothing Preparation of light meals for the children Assisting the family in the kitchen Occasionally look after the children Following a schedule and routine
Requirements
Minimum 3 - 5 years' experience working for private families Very good housekeeping skills Fluent in English Enjoys working with children Confident in cooking and preparing meals Dynamic and energetic Flexible Trustworthy Hands-on and responsible
