A lovely couple based in Dubai, UAE is looking to hire a House Manager to run the daily operations of their 10 000 sqft villa in Palm Jumeirah.
The House Manager will be responsible for staff management (hiring and firing process, training, supervising etc). The House Manager would also be required to oversee the work of outside contractors such as interior designers.
The ideal candidate must be hands-on with all administrative and PA duties in order to assist the Principal in his daily life with travel arrangements, running errands, etc.
We are looking for a hands-on and calm individual with a can-do attitude. The ideal candidate must be fluent in German and be able to demonstrate leadership.

Responsibilities
- Being hands-on with all administrative and PA duties, including running reports, scheduling travel arrangements)
- Running errands when required
- Overseeing the work of outside contractors such as interior designers, landscapers, etc
- Supervising and training household staff (3 fixed staff members year round), to include housekeepers, driver, chef/cook as well as the hiring/firing process
- Organising and approving the staff schedules
- Responsible for coordinating and monitoring all required maintenance and repairs, to include landscaping, interior designing
- Shopping for food, supplies and sourcing ingredients from abroad (mainly from Japan)
- Organising informal dinner parties and events (up to 10 people)
Requirements
- Minimum 3 to 5 years experience working in similar environments
- Must be fluent in German
- Must have a full clean driving licence
- Strong multi-tasking skills
- In depth knowledge of all rules and regulations surrounding property management
- Interpersonal savvy with strong communication and presentation skills
- Being responsible, efficient, discreet and organised
- Proactivity and leadership
- Candidate has to be located in Dubaï, UAE
Work conditions
- Position : Live-out House Manager
- Start date: ASAP
- Location: Palm Jumeirah, Dubai, UAE
- Employment contract: Full time permanent position
- 5 days a week (40 hours a week)
Salary
Negotiable, depending on the candidate’s experience
