Job description
Our client in Santa Barbara, California, USA is looking for an experienced House Manager to assist the principal in all aspects, including organising and accompanying her to appointments interact and overseeing the household staff and contractors.The ideal candidate must have a superb personality and be a very good listener. This position is live-in and a fully furnished studio is provided.
Responsibilities
Engaging and overseeing outside contractors, service providers and suppliersMaintenance of the property on a regular basisMaintaining security and communication systems and record keepingRegularly interacting with Madame in a warm and friendly yet professional mannerShop for and order food (online or from restaurants directly)Accompany the principal to appointments (i.e medical), and be an advisor when neededOverseeing household staffs (a gardener and a housekeeper)Ensuring efficiency, harmony, and high morale throughout the householdOrganising of social and family eventsAbility to anticipate the principal’s wishes and adapt accordingly
Requirements
Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role supporting high net worth individuals/familiesFlexible and trustworthyExcellent managerial and supervision skillsA keen eye for details and a good capacity to adapt to any request or situationBeing a good communicator and a good listener, understanding the client’s likes and dislikeBeing knowledgeable on a wide range of areas related to the roleBeing responsible, efficient and organisedClean Driving licence
