Job description
Our high-profile client is looking for a highly experienced, hands on and responsible Domestic Couple to take care of his beautiful country house in Chester, Cheshire, UK. The property has a large garden and an organic vegetable garden with a team of experienced gardeners.
The client travels often but his family are frequent visitors. The candidates must have extensive experience working for high end families and must be able to demonstrate reasonably long service with each previous position and valid reasons for leaving.
Accommodation is provided.

Responsibilities
- Chauffeuring/driving
- Shoe cleaning and polishing
- General property maintenance
- Ensuring the safety and security of the property at all times - security and fire systems
- Boiler room systems and heating management
- Indoor pool management
- Fireplace setting and cleaning
- Occasional butler / drinks service
- Care for antiques, curtains and fabrics
- High-level housekeeping duties
- Laundry and care of delicate fabrics
- Ironing
- Wardrobe management
- Bed linen change
- Cooking to a high standard
- Pantry / food stock management
- Household accounts
Requirements
- High level of personal service experience with private families
- Discreet
- Smart and professional appearance
- Experience of formal service
- Excellent references
- Fit and energetic
- Clean drivers licence
- Strong work ethic
- Excellent cooking skills
- Extremely detail oriented
- Experience in caring for antiques, curtains and fabrics
- Strong communication skills
Work conditions
- Accommodation: The successful couple will stay in a 4 bedroom newly built detached house close to the country house. Immaculate condition, newly decorated with brand new carpets and can be fully furnished if required. Council tax paid.
- Car provided.
