Job description
Our client is looking for an english and german speaking live-out chauffeur/all rounder for a family in Lucerne area, Switzerland. A candidate who speaks additional languages such as french or italian would be a plus. The ideal candidate must be able to be always on hand to assist the family whenever they require a professional but personable service. The family live in Switzerland for around 7 months per year, during which the Chauffeur would also have to provide butler duties. You may be required to occasionally travel with the family (within Europe).The position is to be started immediately.
Responsibilities
Keeping passengers safe whilst transporting them from one place to anotherMaking sure the Principal and his family arrive at their destination in a timely and secure mannerAvoiding compromising situations for the familyChauffering with impeccable driving traffic recordMaintenance of automobiles (washing, making arrangements to have the vehicles serviced and repaired)Handyman duties upon family's requestRunning requested errands when necessaryReporting any security issues in the propertyEnsuring efficiency, harmony and high morale throughout the household Anticipating family members needs by learning their preferences, allergies, dislikes
Requirements
Having a minimum of 5 years of experience as a chauffeur/butler in a formal environmentSpeak english and germanSpeaking french or italian would be a plusEpitome of discretionCandidate able to have a good judgement and an analytical mindAbility to think ahead and being able to be highly familiar with alternative routes and shortcutsHands on working approachPolite and benevolent candidate
