Job description
A lovely family of 3 living in Winchester, Hampshire, UK is looking for a professional and positive-minded Housekeeper to look after their 4-bedroom house and help with 2 small dogs. This is a long-term opportunity with an immediate start.
The client is happy to hire either a live-in or live-out (local) housekeeper. In case of a live-in position, the housekeeper will have their own bedroom and bathroom in a rented property across the road from the client’s house (with a shared kitchen and entrance).
The clients normally travel during half terms so in these periods the housekeeper will be required to move into the house to ensure security.

Responsibilities
- Cleaning the house to a high standard
- Keeping the house tidy and organised
- Laundry and ironing
- Cooking if needed (mostly just lunch – simple healthy meals)
- Dog walking twice a day (in the morning and in the evening)
- Accepting deliveries, answering the phone and the door
- Running errands, some shopping if needed
- Minding the house when the owners are away
Requirements
- Experience in similar positions
- Experience of working in 5 star hotels will be an advantage
- Professional and focused on the job
- Good time management skills
- Positive and flexible attitude
- Excellent contactable references
Work conditions
Schedule: 5.5 days per week (Monday – Saturday afternoon)
Salary
£ 450-500 net per week
