Job description
Our repeat client is looking for an experienced Live-out Housekeeper to join their House Manager in assisting with the smooth running of their family residence in Mayfair, London, UK.
This is a substantial residence with 7 storeys (there is a lift), 9 bedrooms, 12 bathrooms, 3 drawing rooms, main kitchen, 2 pantries, study, dining room as well as a roof terrace and penthouse.
The Housekeeper would be required to maintain the high levels of cleanliness and organisation throughout the entire residence. In addition to this, there is a 2 bed mews of which the candidate will assume full responsibility in the respect of housekeeping.
The main household is full of fine finishings, furniture etc, so it is essential the candidate has the capacity to execute the training provided with the regard to caring for such items. A uniform is required and there is a dog (miniture poodle). Whilst the HM is off duty you will be required to walk and care for the puppy. Some light breakfast cooking for the principal may also be required from time to time whilst the HM is on leave/off duty.

Responsibilities
- Cleaning to a high standard (daily and deep cleaning)
- Dusting and polishing
- Vacuuming and mopping
- Care for antique furniture and delicate surfaces
- Making beds, changing linen
- Keeping the residence tidy and presentable at all times
- Dog walking if needed
- Making breakfast if needed
- Working in a team with other staff (permanent and temporary)
- Following the instructions of the house manager
Requirements
- Experience of working for HNW and UHNW clients
- 5 star housekeeping skills
- Attention to detail
- Must be pet friendly and unallergic to cats, dogs
- Non Arabic speaker
- Flexible and motivated with a can-do outlook
- Positive and upbeat attitude
- Ability to work autonomously but also play a team role, as and when required
Work conditions
- Principal/family in residence: Monday-Friday 07:00-18:00 (flexibility required however any extra days worked will be given in lieu).
- Non-residence: Wednesday -Sunday 09:00-17:00
- Approximately 40 hours (non resident) — 55 hours (resident) per week.
Salary
£35,000 - £40,000 gross per year, negotiable
