Job description
A family of 5 is looking for a full time live in Housekeeper/Cook to provide full cleaning service in their 4 story townhouse in Manhattan, New-York, USA. The family has 3 children ages 13, 11 and 17 months.
Besides housekeeping duties, the candidate will be cooking healthy family style meals as well and have great laundry skills. Must be able to iron and take care of delicate garments.
Also, the family has a small Maltese who the housekeeper would be responsible for feeding twice a day and cleaning the wee pads throughout the day. Travel will be required domestically and internationally upon request.
Start: As soon as possible.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• All aspects of general housekeeping and cleaning of residence and occasional childcare
• Disinfecting and cleaning bathrooms, counters, kitchen, floors and vanities
• Laundry duties as needed including ironing, organization, hand washing, dry cleaning etc.
• Management and organization of all closets, pantries, and storage areas
• Healthy Family meals
• Must be willing to travel with the family domestically and internationally
• Organization of all closets, cabinets and pantries
• Running errands (grocery shopping, post office etc)
• Dealing with gardeners or maintenance people when they come
• Answering the phone and taking messages when we are not home
• Taking care of the dog
• Provide childcare when needed

Requirements
The family needs someone who is proactive, communicative, and a team player so they are able to get along with the nanny who takes care of the 17 month old.
The ideal person would be nurturing, happy, highly organized, and physically fit so they can run the stairs in the house. Fluency in Tagalog is great but not necessary.

Work conditions
This position consists of a 5 days flexible workweek, roughly 10-11 hours per day, with flexibility to work extended hours or overtime as needed.
Ideally the family is looking for someone that can work Sunday - Friday. Sunday would be a shortened day, but they would like a little help straightening up at the end of the day or the flexibility to take the big kids out to do something for a couple of hours.
