Gamekeeper Jobs & Vacancies
As a gamekeeper, you would be responsible for the upkeep of animals bred for hunting and fishing, and take care of the land used for shooting and fishing. You’d also organise activities such as recreational shooting, deer stalking and angling for clients.
Depending on your environment, you would make sure there is enough game such as deer, and birds like pheasant, partridge and grouse for clients to shoot. You would also make sure that rivers are well-stocked with fish for angling. Your duties may depend on the season, as well as the specific needs of your client.
