Full time Live-in Property Guardian / Caretaker couple is required in Fontainebleau, France
We are looking for a Property Guardian couple for our clients whose second home is located in Fontainebleau. They will be responsible for general maintenance and site surveillance.
The couple, who will be committed for the long term, will be responsible for the interior maintenance of the 700m2 house, the 7000m2 outdoor area (park, lawn, hedges, garden, terraces), and the security of the property, which is occupied every weekend and during school holidays by a family of five.
The position is live-in and based in Fontainebleau.
This is a full-time permanent position starting at the end of June 2023.

Vacancy duties and responsibilities
- Ensure the proper functioning and general maintenance of the property
- Interior maintenance of the 700m2 residence
- Maintenance of the 7000m2 outdoor area (park, lawn, hedges, garden, terraces)
- Maintenance and organization of all rooms in the house
- Preparation of the house before the family's arrival and maintenance during their stay
- Complete maintenance of household and family linens (washing, ironing, and storage)
- Maintenance of the terrace and garden or pool furniture
- Preparation of meals for the family (family-style and balanced cuisine)
- Informal table service
- Handle grocery shopping and errands
- Maintenance of 2 swimming pools
- Maintenance and monitoring of on-site vehicles
- Surveillance and security of the property
- Management of mail and packages
- Minor repairs and handyman work as needed
- Management and supervision of contractors and artisans
- Regular reporting to the employer
Profile requirement
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position
- A friendly and pleasant couple seeking long-term employment
- High degree of confidentiality and discretion assured to the employer
- Trustworthy individuals
- Dynamic and flexible couple
- Self-sufficient and organized individuals
- Good interpersonal skills and communication skills
- Able to perform minor repairs and handyman work as needed
- At least one person must have a valid driver's license

The attached 80m2 house is fully renovated, furnished, air-conditioned, and includes a sunny terrace, separate entrance, 2 bedrooms, double living room, and a kitchenette.
Guardian/Caretaker couple Salary
- Salary: 4400 € net for the couple
