One of our UHNW client based in Dubai, UAE is looking for a dynamic and switched on House Manager to work alongside the Personal Assistant to ensure the overall organization and smooth operation of the household and ensuring the family’s needs, expectations and requests are met.

Vacancy duties and responsibilities
The role will include responsibility for the following areas:
- Budget. Managing and controlling household accounts and budgets in a timely and economic manner. Monthly report of all household purchases.
- Staff. Managing, handling, and supervising household staff. This includes but is not limited to: disburse petty cash, collect original invoices to submit to the office; purchase uniforms; setting up rotas and schedules; educating, training, and guiding existing (and prospective) staff on their respective duties.
- Stock and Inventories. Managing household stock and inventories.
- Housekeeping and F&B. Managing housekeeping and F&B. This includes but is not limited to: setting up a housekeeping system to make sure that all areas of the household are clean, hygienic, safe and clutter-free (including staff accommodation); communication with the chefs and menu planning; sourcing high-quality kitchen and grocery items; setting up “themed” tables.
- Maintenance and works. Organize regular (and emergency) maintenance works in a timely and economic manner. Daily overall check on the interior and exterior household and staff accommodation.
- Projects. Communicating with- and supervising- contractors, suppliers and service providers on new and ongoing projects requested by the family.
- Events. Event planning, organizing and coordination and welcoming guests whenever required.
- Shopping and Errands. Going shopping and completing errands. This includes but is not limited to: shopping for food, supplies and other items requested.
Profile requirement
- The position requires a high energy individual with an excellent work ethic and a sense of pride in work well done.
- Minimum 3 years previous experience working in a similar role
- Ability to thrive in a team-based environment; develop and maintain positive relationships with other members of staff
- Excellent communication skills
- Energetic problem solving with the ability to take the initiative
- Effective time management
- Polished, professional, and respectful; a quiet presence in the household
- Highly discreet in preserving the confidentiality and privacy of the family
Job Conditions
- Full-time employment
- Mostly 9am to 6/7pm
- Live in accommodation provided
