Fantastic opportunity for a professional butler to join a temporary household team in a private luxury villa in Los Angeles, California, US for the month of August 2018.
A family of 4 people (2 children) is looking for a butler to provide 5* service during their holiday and prepare for formal and informal entertainment on a daily basis.
Duties and responsibilities
- Formal table service (breakfast, lunch and dinner)
- Serve wine and champagne
- Mix cocktails and serve them during cocktail hour (5pm)
- Greeting guests and caring for them (help with suitcases, housing, etc)
- Assisting chef during Christmas Eve, Christmas and New Year’s Eve
- Responsible for fireworks and decoration of the house
- Taking telephone calls
Requirements
- 3+ years’ experience
- Fluent English (French would be a plus)
- Special formal training
- Ability to provide formal service
- Flexibility and commitment
- Knowledge of different types of wine and spirits
- Knowledge of different alcohol cocktails
- Playing musical instruments would be a plus
Schedule
10-12 hours/day (flexible hours)
Period - August 1, 2018 – September 3, 2018
Temporary live-in position. Separate chalet provided for all the staff – separate bedroom for each, shared bathrooms.
