Chef cook Job
Fantastic opportunity for a professional chef/cook to join a temporary household team in a private luxury villa in Los Angeles, California, USA for the month of August 2018.
A family of 4 people (2 children) is looking for a butler to provide 5* service during their holiday and prepare for formal and informal entertainment on a daily basis.
Duties and responsibilities
- Cooking food of the highest quality with organic market products (3 times/day for 4 to 12 people)
- Cooking special dishes for 2 children
- Plan daily menus according to the principals’ preferences
- Make lists of products to buy according to the budget
- Cook special dinners for approximately 15 to 20 people
- Pay special attention to dish presentation
Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience
- Michelin Starred restaurant chef
- Knowledge of traditional Scottish cuisine
- Special skills and knowledge in desserts
- Fluent English (German, French or Italian would be a plus)
- Trained and educated
- Ability to provide formal service
- Flexibility and commitment
- Cheerful and friendly
- Attentive to detail
Schedule
10-12 hours/day (flexible hours)
Period - August 1, 2018 – September 3, 2018
Temporary live-in position. Separate chalet provided for all the staff – separate bedroom, shared
bathrooms.
Good salary for the right candidate.
