Chef/Cook Job


A lovely family of 5 (2 adults and 3 children aged 6, 4 y.o. and a newborn) based in Leicester, UK is looking for a friendly and professional Family Chef/Cook who can prepare Thai, Chinese, Korean, Italian and English food. The ideal candidate would take pride in their work, be a non-smoker and well-organised.
 
One of the principals is vegetarian, and the other one eats all food except for beef. The family may have dinner parties approximately once a month where they have around 10 guests. There are two kitchens in the house so the chef can use either of them.

Start: As soon as possible. It is full time permanent role. 
 
Requirements

  • Ability to cook Thai, Chinese, Korean, Italian and English food
  • Knowledge of nutrition 
  • Experience in a family or a restaurant 
  • Driving licence will be a plus
  • Pleasant and friendly
  • Clean and tidy
  • Organised
  • Non-smoker  
 
Duties and responsibilities

  • Cooking healthy lunch and dinner for the family
  • Planning meals 
  • Occasional cooking for dinner parties 
  • Grocery shopping 
  • Serving food 
 
Schedule

5-6 days/week (to be discussed) 
From 11 am to 7pm
 
Salary

£ 35K gross per year
