Caretaker couple Job

​
An experienced  and a trustworthy caretaking couple (for housekeeping & gardening) is required to work in a Castle of 650 Square meters, surrounding by a Wineyard near Brignoles in the French Var.

It is a second home, the owner comes few days every week. English & French speakers are required. 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • General housekeeping (floor, windows…)Keeping the Castle clean and presentable at all times
  • Specific care of valuable objects
  • Laundry and ironing duties
  • Preparation of light meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner), table service
  • Clear up and keep clean the kitchen after each use
  • Turn the bed down 
  • Gardening, Planting flowers and various plants, mowing the lawn
  • Maintaining and developing the garden, maintenance of the watering
  • Maintaining the cleanliness of the garden, the paths & terraces
  • In winter, clean the fireplace and prepare fire in the salon
  • Low Maintenance & Cleaning of the pool
  • Running errands 
  • Chauffeur for the guests & owner
  • Wash cars
  • Handyman duties, dealing with tradesmen
  • Food & errands running
  • ​Take care of dog

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years experience in a similar position
  • Speaking French &  English for both
  • Driving licence for both
  • Honest and trustworthily 
  • Serious and hard-worker 
  • Flexible and available
  • Discreet and careful

Accomodation

  • Live-in position in a dependant house approx 100m2, half furnished, electricity and water charges inclusives
  • The family offer a car 

Condtions

  • Position  : Domestic couple
  • Starting date: End of June 2018
  • Location: Near Brignoles, Var, France
  • Employment contract : Long term
  • Permanent & full time
  • Day off to define
