Domestic employee/Guardian Job​

A private foreign family based in Saint Jean Cap Ferrat, French Riviera is looking for a Domestic employee/Guardian to manage and maintain their property.

Requirements

  • 3 years of experience working in the same position
  • Knowledge of cleaning products and their proper use
  • Knowledge of delicate materials and fabrics
  • Available, flexible
  • Responsible, organized
  • Discreet and presentable 
  • Careful in carrying out tasks
  • French and German or English speaking
  • Able to travel (2 weeks per year)
  • Pet-friendly (2 dogs)

Duties and responsibilities

  • Ensuring full property maintenance 
  • Cleaning, vacuuming, dusting (lounges, dining room, bathrooms, office)
  • Proper use of cleaning products 
  • Inventory of cleaning and maintenance products
  • Ironing, storing linen
  • Wardrobe and clothing organization
  • Taking care of delicate materials and fabrics (silk, linen, cashmere)
  • Reporting of any technical problems or incidents related to the property
  • Grocery shopping
  • Liaising with suppliers and contractors
  • Maintenance of furniture in the garden and terrace
  • Supervising and guarding the property

Salary
 
2 200 – 2 500 euros (net per month)
