Housekeeper/Maid Job and Vacancy

A high profile family of 4 (2 children 5 and 9 years old) is looking for experienced housekeeper to look after their private residence in San Francisco, California, US. The right candidate should have experience working for private families, be professional and should be very flexible.  There are 2 nannies, a cook and a chauffeur. This is a live in position.

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience as a housekeeper for private families
  • Fluent English
  • Good laundering, ironing and cleaning skills
  • Able to take care of fine linens, fabrics and luxury clothes
  • Wardrobe management skills
  • Able to look after expensive furniture and various surfaces in the house
  • Active and dynamic
  • Flexible
  • Attentive to details
  • Discreet
  • Neat appearance

Duties and responsibilities

  • Full cleaning of the house
  • Looking after expensive furniture and various surfaces in the property (wood, marble)
  • Washing of windows 
  • Silver care
  • Laundering and ironing of bed linen 
  • High standard laundering and ironing of expensive clothes
  • Handwashing delicate items
  • Managing the family’s’ wardrobe
  • Shoe care
  • Make small sewing if needed
  • Shopping for household supplies
  • Floral arrangements
  • Running various errands 

Schedule
Monday-Friday, flexible working hours

Accommodation 
A separate accommodation will be provided with a bedroom, a bathroom and a kitchen.
