Gardener in the Hamptons, Long Island's, United States of America


A HNW family is looking for a Gardener for their beautiful property (2 800 m2) in New-York. The beauty of the home is matched only by its surrounds (broad lawns, magnificent gardens, scenic meadow). The Gardener will be responsible for the contributing to the maintenance of the grounds and horticultural effects to a high standard. 

Requirements
  • 3-5 years’ experience working in a relevant position 
  • Good knowledge of plants and vegetables
  • Ability to use a wide range of horticultural machinery
  • Keen personal interest in gardening  
  • Enjoying working outdoors
  • Driving licence         
  • Fast and energetic 
  • Flexible 

Duties and responsibilities
  • Maintaining and developing the garden
  • Planting new trees, flowers and various plants
  • Seeding plants and watering them at the correct times
  • Mowing the lawn
  • Pruning shrubs
  • Maintaining the cleanliness of the garden
  • Making sure that all garden equipment is correctly maintained and serviced
  • Cleaning of the pool
  • Running errands 

Schedule
5 days per week, 
8 hours per day
