Housekeeper/Maid Job and Vacancy

A HNW client is looking for a good and experienced housekeeper to take care of an apartment in Manhattan, New York. This is a live out position. The right candidate is expected to provide cleaning services on a high level. The housekeeper will be also responsible for managing the client’s wardrobe.

Requirements

  • 4 years of experience as a housekeeper in private homes
  • Experience of working in luxury homes
  • Fluent English
  • Good laundry and ironing skills
  • Ability to provide service on a high level
  • High sense of responsibility

  • Confident and autonomous

Duties and responsibilities

  • Performing all the housekeeping duties in the apartment (3 bedrooms and bathrooms, fireplace, dryer and washer, storage)
  • Washing and wiping of various surfaces in the apartment  (wood, marble)
  • Laundry and ironing of linen and some clothes
  • Managing the client’s wardrobe
  • Making list of purchases
  • Shopping for household supplies
  • Floral arrangements
  • Washing of windows 
  • Clothes repair if needed
  • Liaising with various services (suppliers and contractors) and with a chef-cook, currently working in the apartment
