Domestic Couple Job and Vacancy


​UHNW family is looking for a Domestic Couple to look after their 6-bedroom house in Manhattan, New York. The house is full of wooden products, thus the candidates should have an extensive knowledge / experience of working with wooden surfaces. The couple will also take care of the dog. 

This is a live out position. 

Requirements

  • 3 years of experience for private families / houses
  • Experience of work with fine surfaces
  • Fluent English
  • Driving license
  • Excellent cleaning and DYI skills
  • Laundry and ironing skills 
  • Pet lover couple
  • Active and energetic
  • Communication skills
  • Stress resistant
  • Reliable
  • Good health

Duties and responsibilities

  • Taking care of the whole house and the exteriors (6 bedrooms, fireplaces, basement, small garden and 3 bathrooms)
  • Daily cleaning of the house 
  • Ensuring proper care of surfaces (parquet, marble, wood, brick, glass, brass…)
  • Changing of bed linen
  • Laundry and ironing of clothes
  • Taking clothes to the cleaners when needed
  • Table setting 
  • Minor repairs at the house
  • Taking care of 2 vehicles
  • Shopping for groceries, cleaning agents 
  • Watering flowers
  • Floral arrangements
  • Providing guests service when needed
  • Taking care of the family dog (walking and feeding the dog)
  • Assisting each other in performing duties

Schedule

5 days a week, 2 days off
9:00 – 18:00
