Houseman Job and Vacancy


​UHNW family is looking for a private live-in Houseman to maintain their 300 acres property. The right candidate should be respectful and value the family property.

​There is a House Manager, a Housekeeper and a Chef working in the house and the candidate will assist them if needed. There is going to be some construction works and the houseman will have to supervise the contractors.

Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working as a Handyman for a private family
  • Competent in renovations, outdoor cleaning, plumbing, electrical repairs and carpentry
  • Respectful
  • Attentive to detail
  • Hard-working
  • Responsible
  • Fluent English
  • Driving licence
  • Technical education will be an advantage

Duties and responsibilities
  • Perform repair and maintenance works 
  • Supervise contractors and suppliers 
  • Assist other staff in the property if needed
  • Perform chauffeur duties
  • Carry out all kinds of repairs (plumbing, carpentry, painting, etc.) and HVAC
  • Сlean the house exterior, gutters and fireplace
  • Around the property cleaning
  • Liaise with a gardener when necessary 
  • Care for machinery and 2 expensive cars 

Schedule
  • Monday to Friday
  • 9am – 8pm

Accommodation
This is a live-in position. Accommodation for the handyman – a separate bedroom, bathroom and kitchenette in the staff cottage. 

Salary
Negotiable/depends on the candidate’s profile
