Butler Job and Vacancy
A German couple are looking for an experienced butler/house manager to work for their beautiful estate near Munich, Germany. The Principals offer accommodation (a separate flat), a car and the possibility to form own team.
The position may also be suitable for a married couple, in which case the partner would be integrated in the household activities.
The house is 500 m2, there are 2 maids and a gardener working in the property. The Principals expect semi-formal service, informal during the day and formal in the evenings.
This is a full-time permanent position with an immediate start.

Schedule
5 days/week
Approximately 8 hours per day, the candidate has to be flexible
Trial period is 6 weeks

Requirements
- 5 years’ experience
- Butler training
- Knowledge of silver and French service
- Fluent English
- German would be a plus
- Driving license
- Non-smoker and non-drinker
- Flexible and available
- Pet-lover
Duties and responsibilities
- Looking after the house
- Managing and supervising the household staff (2 maids and a gardener)
- Greeting and welcoming guests
- Table service
- Shopping
- Cooking for the family (breakfast, lunch and dinner – low calorie healthy food)
- Chauffeur duties
- Liaising with contractors and suppliers
- Taking care of a dog (feeding, walking, taking to vets, etc)
