Laundress Job and Vacancy


​HNW family of 5 is looking for a laundress to take care of family clothes and home linen. There is a lot of laundry everyday especially children’s clothes. It is a live-out position with 5-day per week schedule. 

Requirements
  • 3 years’ experience working for a private family 
  • Experience in 5* hotel as a plus
  • Checkable references  
  • Good knowledge of fabrics 
  • Knowledge of care for luxury clothes and delicate fabrics 
  • Exceptional laundry and ironing skills 
  • Patient and hard-working person 
  • Good organizational skills 

Duties and responsibilities

  • Washing and ironing of clothes (occasional guests) 
  • Washing and ironing of bed linen, home linen, towels, etc. 
  • High standard ironing of man’s shirts 
  • Care for luxury haute couture clothes
  • Special care for silk and cashmere items  
  • Responsible for dry cleaning 
  • Cleaning shoes and bags
  • Seasonal management of the wardrobe of each family member 
  • Care for hats and gloves (leather, suede, wool) 
  • Care for fur


Schedule

5 days - on, 2 days – off
9am – 6pm 


Contract

Live-out. Permanent contract
20 days paid holidays 
Bank holidays - negotiable 

Trial period – 1 month
