Family of 3 is looking for a Butler in Camps Bay, close Cape Town for the upkeep and well-being of their 3 bedroom garden townhouse
(507 m2) in Camps Bay, South Africa.
Requirements
- 4-5 years of experience as Butler in private homes
- Butler training, diplomas, certificates would be a plus
- Fluent English
- Compliance with the conditions of the non-disclosure of confidential information
- Well-mannered
- Self-disciplined
- Good organization and management skills
- Communication skills
- Flexible
- Reliable and responsible
- Presentable appearance
Duties and responsibilities
- Looking after the house (bedrooms, bathrooms, 2 garages, pool room, pool deck, glass wine cellar, terraces)
- Overseeing the work of a housekeeper, chef and a gardener
- Maintaining of wine cellar
- Assisting in seating arrangement of guests
- Table setting
- Assisting the family in organising meetings and semi-formal dinners
- Sommelier duties
- Flower arrangement
- Silver care
- Caring for fine items
- Travel arrangement
- Assisting the family members in packing and unpacking suitcases
- Liaising with security services
- Keeping record of household accounts, financial reports to the client
- Liaising with contractors and suppliers
Schedule
- Monday - Friday, occasionally weekends (when needed)
- Flexible hours
