Butler Job and Vacancy
HNW family in Central London (SW1) is looking for an extremely active and enthusiastic butler with special training. It is a very formal household of 6 bedrooms. The perfect candidate should have experience in a similar position.
Duties and responsibilities
- Silver service
- Serving drinks and tea
- Planning and organising special events (liaising with catering services, cleaners, entertainment)
- Greeting and caring for guests
- Taking care of household antiques and valuables
- Crystal, silver, and fine porcelain care
- High-class chauffeur duties (picking up guests, driving principals)
- Running personal errands, shopping
- Maintenance of wine cellar
- Flower arrangements
- Taking care of a small family dog
Requirements
- 5 years’ experience (private family only)
- Perfect command of English
- Chinese language would be a plus
- Formal training (butler school)
- Clean UK Driving License
- Confident driver
- Good knowledge of wines and spirits
- Ability to provide formal service
- Flexible
- Dynamic and active
- Discreet

Schedule
- 5 days/week (Friday and Saturday – days off)
- Between 10-11 hours per day
- 7am – 7pm (flexible hours)
Working bank holidays
Start – mid March 2016
Live-out position. One-bedroom flat in Central London can be provided on request (bills not included). Car provided for work only.
Trial period: 2 months
