Butler Job


​Marvellous opportunity for a professional butler to join a temporary household team in the mountains of Switzerland for Christmas and New Year. A family of 12 people (4 children) is looking for a butler to provide 5* service during their holidays in Wengen, Switzerland.  

​Duties and responsibilities
  • Formal table service (breakfast, lunch and dinner)
  • Serve wine and champagne 
  • Mix cocktails and serve them during cocktail hour (5pm) 
  • Greeting guests and caring for them (help with suitcases, housing, etc) 
  • Assisting chef during Christmas Eve, Christmas and New Year’s Eve
  • Responsible for fireworks and decoration of the house  
  • Taking telephone calls

Requirements
  • 5+ years’ experience 
  • Fluent English and Russian (German, French or Italian would be a plus) 
  • Special formal training
  • Ability to provide formal service
  • Flexibility and commitment 
  • Knowledge of different types of wine and spirits  
  • Knowledge of different alcohol cocktails 
  • Playing musical instruments would be a plus  

Schedule
10-12 hours/day (flexible hours) 

Period - December 23, 2015 – January 3, 2016 
Temporary live-in position. Separate chalet provided for all the staff – separate bedroom for each, shared bathrooms.
