A lovely family based in Dubai is looking for an experienced live-in nanny / babysitter to take care of 2 children (1 and 2 years old girls). This is a permanent full-time position. A separate furnished room will be provided for the candidate.
Requirements
- 5 years’ experience in a similar role
- Fluent English
- Flexibility
- Preference will be given to candidates residing in the UAE
Duties and responsibilities
- Taking care of 2 children (1 and 2 years old girls)
- Bathing and dressing the children
- Organising regular meals and snacks (no cooking required)
- Babysitting duties
- Encouraging creativity, imagination and social development
- Informing parents on their children’s progress
- Caring for physical and mental health: includes looking after the children when sick, supervising administration of medicine (agreed with parents), visits to the doctor, etc.
- Organising fun, educational activities
- Preparing and organising for special occasions, such as birthdays, etc.
- Preparing luggage and toys for travelling
- Establishing and maintaining good communications with parents at all times
- Respecting and adapting to parental preferences and needs in regards to discipline, routines, activities and living or travel arrangements
- Accompany the family on holidays once a year
