Butler Job and Vacancy
Our HNW client is looking for an experienced and well-mannered butler already living in Dubai. This is a permanent full-time position.
Duties and responsibilities
- Managing household staff of: 1 housekeeper/cook, 2 maids and 1 driver (this including drawing up timetables and general overseeing)
- Managing stock and supply operations
- Maintaining equipment and household supplies
- Managing and liaising with contractors
- Liaising with other external household personnel
- Serving at table (breakfast to dinner) and beverages
- Providing 5-star service at all times
- Maintaining and cleaning silverware, fine porcelain and crystal
- Preparing travel operations and luggage
- Preserving, protecting and providing general upkeep of private art collection
- Managing stocks and supplies of cigars and wine cellars
- Running errands
- Performing chauffeur duties if/when necessary
- Managing floral displays
- Understanding household protocols
- Training household staff
- Maintaining up-to-date inventories of valuables
- Inviting and welcoming guests
- Organising estate budgets
Requirements
- 3 years’ experience working for HNW families
- Excellent command of English (French would be a plus)
- Ability to provide a formal 5-star service
- Excellent manners and presentation
- Driving license, good knowledge of Dubai
- Flexible character, willingness to adapt
Good remuneration package for the right candidate.
Start: early/mid-October.
This is a live-out position, however a separate accommodation can be provided for a couple
(the woman would be required to perform housekeeper/cook duties).
