House Manager Job Offer and Vacancy


We are looking for a house manager for a fine home in New York, US. The perfect candidate should be flexible, have a good sense of humour and be a good, diplomatic problem-solver.  

They must have excellent communication skills, professionalism and the ability to effectively manage household staff already employed (including chefs, a butler, house maids, handyman/driver and laundry officer). 

The ideal candidate must
  • Be computer literate (word processing and accounting)
  • Speak fluent English (Spanish or French would be a bonus, but is not required)
  • Have good knowledge of porcelain, fine antique furniture and silverware upkeep
  • Be responsible for the property and refurbishments (constructors may be called if needed)
  • Hold a valid driving licence
  • Be a non-smoker 
  • Be totally trustworthy and reliable
  • Be a green card holder
  • Have clean criminal background checks
  • Have impeccable references

  • Salary 80-100k depending on experience plus benefits
