Full time Private Chef Cook/House Manager Job Offer and Vacancy in Larchmont NY, US
Experienced and flexible House manager/Private Chef Cook is required for an international family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children) currently based in Larchmont, New York, USA.
The family has several other properties in New York state and also in other states, and the right candidate has to be available for travelling with the family.
Also, the family may relocate to another state or to Europe in a year or so, and the right candidate should be open for relocation.
This is a live-in position, the house manager/chef will be provided with a separate bedroom with a bathroom in each property.
The House Manager/Chef will be responsible for cooking lunch and dinner for the family, and also for managing the main residence (in Larchmont) and the other homes (supervising existing staff, liaising with vendors, managing house maintenance, hands-on support , etc).
Start: As soon as possible

Vacancy duties and responsibilities
- Cooking healthy family style meals taking into account the family preferences and dietary restrictions
- Supervise and coordinate household staff (a housekeeper, a driver and a maid)
- Ensure that the house is always in order, organized and looks presentable
- Oversee and liaise with contractors and suppliers
- Make sure that the cleanliness and service standards are met
- Help with wardrobe management and packing/unpacking
- Travelling with the family
- Hands-on approach and offering help when needed
Profile requirement
- Experience in a similar position
- Very hands-on person
- Excellent references from former employers
- Driver’s license
- Adaptable and easy-going person with a positive attitude
- Service oriented and personable
- Positive can-do attitude
- Good with children
- Flexible and available
Conditions
Schedule: Monday to Friday from 12:00 to 20:00; a certain degree of flexibility and working on some weekends will be required.
