Full Time Live-out House Manager Vacancy and Job Offer in Dubai, UAE
An experienced House Manager is required for a new household belonging to a family that recently relocated from Europe to Dubai, the UAE.
The House Manager will organise and coordinate house administration and procedures, to ensure organisational effectiveness, efficiency, and safety.
The House Manager is responsible for developing intra-house communication, streamlining procedures, inventory control, staff supervision and task delegation.
Energetic professional who doesn't mind wearing multiple hats. Experienced in handling a wide range of administrative and household support related tasks and able to work independently with little or no supervision. Well organised, flexible and enjoys the challenges of supporting a busy household of family and staff.

Vacancy duties and responsibilities
• Point person for maintenance, mailing, shipping, supplies, equipment, bills and errands
• Organise and schedule repairs and servicing
• Partner with Family Office to maintain house policies as necessary
• Organise house operations and procedures
• Coordinate with IT department on all AV equipment
• Manage relationships with vendors, service providers and landlord, ensuring that all items are invoiced and paid on time
• Manage contract and price negotiations with office vendors, service providers and office lease
• Provide general support to visitors
• Responsible for developing and implementing office policies by setting up procedures and standards to guide the operation of the office
• Allocate tasks and assignments to subordinates and monitor their performance
• Perform review and analysis of special projects and keep the Family Office properly informed
• Responsible for recruiting staff for the house and providing orientation and training to new employees
• Participate actively in the planning and execution of household parties
• Responsible for developing standards and promoting activities that enhance operational procedures
• Allocate available resources to enable successful task performance
• Design and implement filing systems
• Establish and monitor procedures for record-keeping
• Manage internal staff relations
• Maintain a safe and secure working environment
Profil requirement
- Proven household management, administrative or assistant experience
- Knowledge of household management responsibilities, systems and procedures
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritise work
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational and planning skills
- The House Manager will need to have excellent attention to detail and good communication skills are key.
- It is preferential but not essential that the prospective candidate has previous experience working with Family Offices/UHNW across a wide variety of asset classes and jurisdictions which would have led them to develop their own network of valuable contacts.
- Previous experience of working in Dubai and knowledge of Dubai will be a plus
