A lovely American couple recently acquired a 20 acres property near Meaux (77), France, and is looking for a guardian couple in order to take care of the inside and outside of the Château.
The property is a second residency in which the family will stay 4 times a year. The ideal couple will have excellent handyman, mechanical, and gardening skills, and will be able to keep the property cleaned to high standards at all times.
The employer will be in the property from June 16th to July 8th 2021 to organize the interviews. This is a permanent position to be started as soon as possible. The position is also opened for a caretaker profile.

Duties and responsibilities
- Cleaning, dusting and maitaining the household
- Good knowledge of cleaning products and their use
- Management of product and supply inventory
- Taking care of the laundry (ironing, folding and organizing a proper storage)
- Good knowledge of specific fabric and their cleaning requirements
- Dealing with flowers, laying and clearing tables
- Stock supplies management
- Going to the grocery store and run errands when the employers need
- Receiving and opening deliveries
- Reporting technical issues or malfunctions in the property
- Garden maintenance (mowing, pruning, clearing, leaf removal)
- Pool maintenance
- Making sure the outdoor furniture is always kept in good conditions
- Mechanical duties (plumbing, pipes, air conditioning system)
- Maintain the boiler and fuel supply to main house
- Ensuring equipment and machinery are clean after use, and well stored
- Liaising with contractors
- Airport transfers should the employers need
- Handle the security system
- General non specified additional tasks to maintain the property from time to time
- Being available to communicate with the employers via WhatsApp when they are not on the property
Profile requirement
- Minimum 5 years experience in private family
- Speaking both french and english
- Polite and respectful
- Enthusiastic couple
- Meticulous
- Great mechanical skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Driving licence
