Our client is looking for a Domestic Couple who can speak fluently Italian and English to work in their beautiful secondary residence near Cortona in Tuscany, Italy.
The couple will be responsible for the administration and upkeep of a large country house, and have to be genuine countryside lovers and happy to live in a rural location.
The owners only spend a few weeks per year in the residence, the month of August is usually very busy, whereas during the rest of the year the couple will have a more relaxed schedule and can manage their time.
Start: As soon as possible

Vacancy duties and responsibilities
- Manage the daily operations that keep the household running smoothly
- Liaise and keep relations with local contractors and suppliers
- Ensure that contractors and suppliers are paid promptly
- Management of house budget and accounts
- Supervise the gardeners
- Make sure the house is ready for family arrival
- Call for cleaners or any other extra staff when needed
- Basic cooking ( usually the first meal when the family arrive)
- Ensure the house is clean, tidy and presentable at all times
- Basic handyman duties
- Monitor the alarm system, ensure security
- Shopping for the household when the owners are in residence
Profile requirement
- Excellent Italian and English skills
- Driving licence
- Able to build and maintain relationships with contractors

- Pro-active and happy to use initiative

Job Condition
Accommodation: It is a live-in position, a couple will be provided with a separate newly-renovated 3-bedroom house; couples with pets and children are welcome.
