Head Housekeeper/Cook in Marbella, Spain
Full time Housekeeper/Cook Job Offer and Vacancy in Marbella, Spain
A family of four based in Marbella, Spain is looking for a head housekeeper/cook to support them with daily housekeeping duties in their 9 bedroom house.
They are looking for a housekeeper who can fulfil all housekeeper duties – cleaning, dusting, maintaining the property to high standards of cleanliness and to cook for them and their guests.
The ideal candidate must be flexible, pro active, be able to follow instructions and have a can-do attitude. We are looking for a candidate to start as soon as possible. This position is live-out.

Vacancy duties and responsibilities
- Daily maintenance and cleaning of property to a high standard
- Vacuuming
- Mopping
- Tyding
- Dusting furniture (fine and delicate furniture)
- Laundry and ironing - clothing, bed linen, delicate items and hand-washing
- Polishing silver and brass
- Maintenance/cleaning of crystal
- Cleaning of marble floors
- Running errands when required
- Overseeing household staffs (mainly during holiday seasons)
- Engaging and overseeing outside contractors, service providers and suppliers
- Cooking well balanced and diversified meals (international cuisine) for the Principals and for their guests when visiting"Managing all ad-hoc activities
- Maintaining inventory of supplies
Profile requirement
- Fluent English and Spanish
- Minimum of 3 – 5 years of experience working within private households
- Stable and responsible
- Hard worker and pro active
- Able to follow instructions
- Excellent cleaning skills (knowledge of running the house as a 5* Hotel)
- Experienced in cleaning silver, marble floors and delicate material
- Good communication and presentation skills (i.e when welcoming guests)
- Above and beyond attitude as well as can-do attitude
- Flexible and committed
- Discreet and trustworthy
- Approachable and kind
- Good manners and professionalism
- A keen eye for details and a good capacity to adapt to any request or situation
