Live-in Housekeeper Job Offer in Dublin, Ireland Description
Our clients based in Bray, just outside Dublin, the Republic of Ireland are looking for a full time live-in Housekeeper who loves dogs and has experience working with animals.
The housekeeper will work in 5-bedroom Georgian house which is occupied by two adults and three lovely dogs (an elderly English bulldog, a semi blind French bulldog and an energetic Boxer puppy).
The housekeeper has to be able to work on their own initiative and able think for themselves. It is a job for an energetic person who loves the outdoors but has the temperament for dealing with the dogs. Taking care of the house and the pets will be the main priorities.
The principals travel a lot so the housekeeper needs to be happy to be with the pets when the owners are away. The clients also have a property manager and gardener working at the property.

Vacancy duties and responsibilities
- Cleaning the house to a high standard
- Hoovering, dusting, polishing
- Caring for delicate surfaces and materials
- Laundry
- Ironing
- Taking clothes to drycleaners if needed
- Loading and unloading the dishwasher, tidying the kitchen
- Walking the dogs
- Feeding the dogs
- Taking the dogs to the vet if needed
- Staying overnight in the house with the dogs when the principals are away
Profil requirement
- Experience working for private families, preferably in Ireland or the UK
- Experience with dogs, a true dog-lover
- Driving licence
- Fluent English
- Happy to live in the countryside and able to commit for a long time
- Independent
- Friendly and easy-going person with a positive attitude
- Active and energetic (can play with the dogs etc)
Job Condition
Start: As soon as possible, within next month.
Live-in Housekeeper Salary
30K – 35K euro gross per year (2 100-2 400 euros net/month), plus own apartment (in a separate building) and a car
