Head Housekeeper Job
Family based in Geneva, Switzerland, is looking for a head housekeeper who will manage their domestic couple and will do a meticulous and organised housekeeping in the apartment. Professional person, with high standard of work and a strong sense of detail. Flexibility is mandatory.
Portugese language and english a plus. Long term contract - No accommodation.
Duties and Responsabilities
- Managing the cleaning and maintenance of the apartment
- Working in a team supervising, instructing and training two cleaners
- Choosing products for cleaning
- Training the cleaners in the product use
- Meticulous housekeeping (valuable object care, delicate furniture and luxury clothes
- High quality laundry and ironing of luxurious lingerie and linen
- Maintaining the laundry room and ironing equipment clean and tidy
- Occasionally cook for the family when required, table service ettiquette
- Managing stock, inventory
- Welcome guests and visitors
- Liaise with other staff
- Taking care of the little dog on request
- Packing and unpacking the luggages
- Travelling with the employers on request
Requirements
- 3 years of experience in a similar position
- Portuguese speaking, English a plus
- Discreet person, trustworthy person
- Team-player
- Positive attitude
- Responsible, reliable and flexible
- Driver's license
- Caring for the dog
- Be able to travel with the family
Starting date : As soon as possible
Employment contract : 100% - long term. Monday to Friday - flexible on request
Probation period : 1 month renewable
Salary : 6 000 CHF to 7 000 CHF according the profile
