Butler Job and Vacancy
An American lady is looking for a Butler who would be in charge of the service in her secondary residence located in Montreux, Switzerland.
She is looking for a very flexible and professional bulter with excellent knowledge of the forma service.
The person would be managed by the Propery Manager and work with two housekeepers. It is a formal household, the owner stays in the property for two month per year.
The bulter will also perform driving duties. The position can be live-in or live-out.
Requirements
- Experience in a similar position
- Checkable and good references
- Fluent english and french
- Driving licence
- Knowledge of the formal service
- Able to cook (simple meals)
- Flexible
- Independant
Duties and Responsibilities
- Setting up the table and service at the table
- Offer a formal service
- Silver service
- Taking care of wooden furniture
- Ensuring general proper maintenance of the residence
- Replace the Chef (simple skills required)
- Prepare very simple meals
- Wardrobe management
- Performing chauffeur duties
- Car fleet management
- Events organization
- Managing minor maintenance of the residence
- Reporting to House manager
- Running errands

Salary : 8 000 to 9 000 CHF per month
